WPNSA - Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy

Walker Sound was pleased to be a platinum sponsor of this event by way of engineering race event sound, staging and lighting.

The opening ceremony, daily prize giveaways, champions racing, prize giving and closing ceremony were covered by Meyer Sound UPA-1C's and USW-1P Sub Speakers across the huge launching apron area and vast crowds. Music was also supplied during rigging / launch and return / de-rig each day throughout the event. During mid week high winds and rain ( when racing was cancelled ) we supplied a 12ft by 9ft screen and projector in the event hall hanger for a movie afternoon.

There were 383 sailors representing 16 nations, with 91 sailors from abroad. A special thanks to the parent volunteers who assisted with setting up, de-rigging and loading out.
