The 4066 is a flexible miniature microphone solution, that features very easy and fast adjustment possibilities. The headband construction is unique in design, because it gives the user the choice between left and/or right mounting and colour change. It is also possible to use the MMB4066 Miniature Microphone Boom separately, in applications where the headband is not needed.

The 4066 offers a clean and transparent sound quality with lots of headroom. It is specially designed for maximum performance and comfort under the often difficult conditions when mounted directly on the human body.

Attention has been paid to the humidity problems that often occur in theatrical applications A double vent protection system, a drop stopper on the microphone boom, together with water resistant materials inside the microphone, makes it more than difficult for the humidity to cause the headband Microphone to fail. The headband surface is matt gold plated and headband ear hooks are covered with a silicon hose.

The sensitivity is 6mV/Pa to match the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. If powered correctly the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144dB SPL before clipping occurs.

Please note that all our DPA range are fitted with a 2.5mm locking screw connector to suit

Sennheiser G1,G2 and G3 EW100, EW300 and EW500 body packs.

The Type 4065-FR is the beige version of the headband mounted condenser microphone Type 4065. This type uses a pre-polarised omni-directional cartridge element with a 5.4 mm vertical diaphragm, which is acoustically identical with the cartridge used in Type 4061. It is specially designed for maximum performance under the often difficult conditions when mounted directly on the human body. The band is easily bent to fit any head shape, in a tight fixed position.

Special attention has been paid in the design to the humidity problems that often occur in theatrical applications and to the light weight construction of the headband itself. A double vent protection system, a drop stopper on the tube together with water resistant materials inside the microphone, make it more than difficult for the humidity to cause the Headband Microphone to fail. The sensitivity is 6 mV/Pa to match the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters.

If powered correctly the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs. Type 4065 is excellent for on-stage use as well as in the studio.

Please note that all our DPA range are fitted with a 3.5mm locking screw connector to suit

Sennheiser G1,G2 and G3 EW100, EW300 and EW500 body packs.

The DPA 4061-F is the beige version of the Miniature Microphone DPA 4061. This type is a pre-polarised omni-directional Miniature Condenser Microphone with a 5.4 mm vertical diaphragm specially designed for maximum performance under the often difficult conditions when mounted directly on the human body.

Special attention has been taken in the design to deal with the humidity problems that often occur in theatrical applications. A double vent protection system together with water resistant materials inside the microphone make it more than difficult for moisture to cause the Miniature Microphone to fail. By changing the protection grids, the Miniature Microphones can furthermore be acoustically modified according to the placement of the microphone on the body.

DPA 4061 is acoustically identical with the award winning DPA 4060, but the sensitivity is adjusted to 6mV/Pa to match some of the more sensitive transmitters on the market. The noise floor of the DPA 4061 is 26 dB(A) re. 20 µPa and if powered correctly the microphone will be able to handle sound pressure levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping occurs.

Please note that all our DPA range are fitted with a 3.5mm locking screw connector to suit
Sennheiser G1,G2 and G3 EW100, EW300 and EW500 body packs.. For XLR connection directly to a hard wired mixer input, an adaptor can be supplied.

This will pass the phantom power from the mixer directly to the microphone, see the adaptor picture above.
